The Old Pear Tree B&B

The Old Pear Tree B&B offers luxurious bed & breakfast accommodation for those looking for time away from it all. The B&B is set in rolling countryside and surrounded by farm land, yet only 5 miles from Bury St Edmund's and major routes (A14, A11 & M11, A12). We offer 2 double rooms &1 twin room,with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and tea and coffee making facilities. The deluxe double room is a family room with a King size bed and an optional single bed available for children, a relaxing seating area and an ensuite. The second double room has a double bed and an ensuite The twin room has a separate dedicated bathroom with bath and shower. We are very close to the National Trust Ickworth House and Country Park and an ideal location as a base for walkers, cyclists or exploring the local area. We also offer a friendly base when attending local weddings or visiting family. Newmarket is very close by for a day out at the races, and Bury is a 10-minute drive. Our nearest pubs for evening meals are 1.5 miles away (walkable on a nice evening) and Bury St Edmunds has an excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. The Old Pear Tree offers a friendly welcome with afternoon tea on arrival.
